Ildeung Sujebi
15-1 Toegye-ro 87-gil
Since 1974
Ildeung Sujebi is a plain, modest sujebi (hand-torn noodle soup) shop near Seoul Jungang Market that has been open for more than forty years. Pieces of dough are torn by hand into a rich anchovy broth, so no two are the same shape or size, and the soup comes with kimchi and kkakdugi made in-house. It’s a short walk from Sindang Station Exit 2. Older neighbors and longtime regulars still fill its tables, which makes it feel more like a neighborhood gathering spot than a trendy restaurant.
